German Slaw
German Slaw is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 head shredded cabbage, 2 medium onions, sliced, 7/8 c. sugar, 1 c. cider vinegar and 3/4 c. corn oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Alternate a layer of cabbage with a layer of onions.
Put 7/8 cup sugar on top.
Bring remaining ingredients to a boil for 2 to 3 minutes.
Pour over cabbage and cool completely.
Refrigerate. Next day, stir and repeat for 3 days.
Can also be eaten immediately.
