Granny's Christmas Cake
Granny'S Christmas Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. flour, 2 tsp. baking soda, 2 tsp. baking powder, 1 c. butter or margarine and 1 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Mix dry ingredients in bowl.
In another large bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
Add eggs and beat thoroughly.
Put grated apples, chopped cherries and cherry juice together in a bowl.
Add dry ingredients and apple-cherry mixture alternately, in small amounts, to butter mixture.
Add nuts, raisins and vanilla. Pour into large greased tube pan or 2 loaf pans.
Bake at 350Β° for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Check after an hour.
