Homemade Ice Cream
Homemade Ice Cream is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 qt. milk, 4 eggs, 2 c. sugar, pinch of salt and 1 large can evaporated milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Scald milk.
Separate eggs.
Beat egg yolks, gradually adding sugar and salt.
Add scalded milk.
Cook slowly for 10 minutes. Cool completely.
When ready to churn, beat egg whites stiff. Fold into milk.
Add evaporated milk (add peaches, if desired). Freeze until hard, then it is ready to eat.
