Hot Reuben Sandwich
Hot Reuben Sandwich is an easy dinner. Made with 1 large round loaf crusty bread, 1 can corned beef, 1 (15 1/2 oz.) can sauerkraut, 2 tbsp. brown sugar and 3 to 4 slices swiss cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Cook sauerkraut and brown sugar with a little water for 30 minutes; drain.
Bread in half horizontally. Spread bottom half with corned beef (can be softened in microwave for 15 seconds to make easier spreading).
Place sauerkraut over corned beef; with slices of cheese.
Place on cookie sheet in a 350Β° oven until cheese melts.
Cover with top half of bread; return to oven for 3 to 4 minutes. Cut in wedges.
