Hot Slaw
Hot Slaw is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 medium head cabbage, grated, 1/4 lb. bacon, cut into tiny pieces, 1 medium onion, diced, 1 c. white vinegar and 1 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Grate cabbage.
Dice onion and mix with cabbage.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Fry bacon; drain and reserve bacon grease.
Add 1 cup of sugar and vinegar to bacon grease and heat to boiling. Taste to see if sweet enough.
Pour over cabbage while hot and mix.
Sprinkle with fried bacon.
