Hot Tamale Pie
Hot Tamale Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. ground beef, salt to taste, 1/2 c. onion, chopped, 2 tsp. chili powder and 1 tsp. worcestershire sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Brown ground beef, salt to taste and drain.
Add all ingredients except the corn bread, simmer 15 to 20 minutes.
Make cornbread according to package directions.
Pour meat mixture into square pan.
Dollop cornbread mixture on top of meat.
Bake at 425Β° for 20 to 30 minutes or until brown.
