Hummingbird Cake
Hummingbird Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. all-purpose flour, 2 c. sugar, 1 tsp. salt, 1 tsp. soda and 1 tsp. cinnamon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl.
Add eggs and salad oil, stirring by hand until dry ingredients are moistened.
(Do not beat with mixer.)
Stir in vanilla and pineapple and 1 cup each of the walnuts and bananas.
Spoon batter into three well-greased and floured 9-inch cake pans.
Bake at 350Β° for 25 to 30 minutes.
Remove from pans and cool completely.
Frost with Cream Cheese Frosting sprinkling the remaining cup of walnuts and bananas over the top of the icing.
