Ice Cream-Jello Salad
Ice Cream-Jello Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 small pkg. lime or orange jello, 1/2 c. boiling water, 1 pt. vanilla ice cream, softened, 1 c. crushed pineapple, well drained and 1/2 c. chopped celery, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Dissolve jello in boiling water.
Stir well to dissolve.
Quickly add and stir in completely the softened ice cream. (The jello needs to be hot to melt in the ice cream.
The ice cream should be softened, but not melted before adding.) Mix in the remaining ingredients and refrigerate in a serving bowl until well set, overnight or several hours.
