Ice Cream Pies
Ice Cream Pies is an easy dinner. Made with 1 (2 layer) pkg. devil's food cake mix, 3/4 c. water, 1/4 c. oil, 1 (16 oz.) can chocolate fudge frosting and 6 c. ice cream, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Combine cake mix, water, oil and 3/4 cup frosting in mixer bowl.
Beat at low speed just until moistened.
Beat at high speed for 2 minutes longer or until smooth.
Spread batter over bottoms and up sides of 2 well-greased 9-inch pie plates.
Bake at 350Β° for 25 to 30 minutes or just until shells test done.
Do not overbake.
Cakes will collapse to form shells.
Cool completely. Beat ice cream in large mixer bowl until smooth.
Spoon into pie shells, leaving a 1/2-inch rim.
Heat remaining frosting in saucepan until soft.
Swirl over top of ice cream.
Freeze, tightly wrapped, for 2 hours or longer.
