Italian Slaw
Italian Slaw is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 head cabbage, 1 c. sugar, 1/4 c. sugar, 1 c. vegetable oil and 1 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Shred cabbage.
Layer in large bowl, alternating cabbage with slices of onion.
Sprinkle 1/4 cup sugar over top of cabbage.
Mix remaining ingredients together and bring to a boil.
Pour over cabbage.
Do not stir.
Cover and let sit at room temperature 6 to 8 hours or overnight, then stir and refrigerate.
