Made with 12 oz. chocolate wafers, crushed, 3/4 c. unsalted butter, melted, 32 oz. cream cheese, at room temperature, 1 tsp. vanilla extract and 1 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. In the top of a double boiler over simmering water melt the butter and chocolate.
Add the water and vanilla and stir until blended.
Add the sugar and whisk until smooth.
Pour over the cooled cheesecake.
Garnish with the strawberries.
