Jean's Taco Salad
Jean'S Taco Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 pkg. cream cheese (1 light and 1 regular), 8 oz. taco sauce (mild or medium), 8 oz. shredded mexican cheese, 8 oz. shredded taco cheese and lettuce (iceberg or boston or mix platter), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Beat together cream cheese with milk.
Smear on bottom of a good size platter.
Cover with taco sauce.
Chop tomatoes very fine; squeeze excess juice from tomatoes.
Spread tomatoes on top of salsa.
Spread all of taco cheese, then sprinkle the Velveeta Mexican shredded cheese.
Mix evenly.
Shred lettuce on top 1/4 inch thick.
Serve with tortilla chips.
