Jelly Fruit Slaw
Jelly Fruit Slaw is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 c. iga grapefruit juice, 2 or 3 pkg. pineapple flavored gelatin, 2 tbsp. sugar, 4 c. finely shredded cabbage and 1/2 c. thinly sliced stuffed olives, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Bring 2 cups of grapefruit juice to a boil.
Pour over gelatin, salt and sugar (use more sugar for less tart flavor). Stir until dissolved.
Add remaining 2 cups of juice.
Chill until gelatin starts to congeal.
Fold in cabbage and olives.
Reserve a few slices for garnish.
Brush bottom and sides of a 5 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 3-inch loaf pan in a pan or 2-quart roll in a pan with mayonnaise.
Spoon in gelatin mixture.
Chill until set.
