Jiffy Chow Mein
Jiffy Chow Mein is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. ground beef, 1 1/2 c. chopped celery, 16 oz. can bean sprouts, 1 medium onion, sliced and 1 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Brown beef; drain off fat.
Add onion, celery and 1 cup water. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
Add bean sprouts.
Combine soy sauce, sugar, water and cornstarch and add to meat.
Cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly, until sauce is thickened.
Serve over Chinese noodles or rice, if desired.
Serves 6 amply.
