Macaroni-Mushroom Casserole
Macaroni-Mushroom Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. macaroni, 1/2 c. chopped green pepper, 1/2 c. chopped onion, 1 can cream of mushroom soup and 1/2 c. sliced mushrooms (optional), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Cook macaroni in boiling salted water until tender; drain. Cook green pepper and onion in small amount of fat in skillet until tender.
Combine all ingredients except cracker crumbs in large mixing bowl.
Place in 2 buttered medium casseroles or 1 large casserole.
Cover with cracker crumbs.
Bake in preheated 350Β° oven for 30 minutes or until cheese melts and cracker crumbs brown.
Yield: 12 servings.
