Marilyn Rouse's Spoon Rolls
Marilyn Rouse'S Spoon Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 egg, 1/3 c. + 1 tbsp. sugar, 4 c. self-rising flour, 3/4 c. crisco and 2 pkg. yeast, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Mix flour and sugar in bowl.
Cut in Crisco.
Add 2 packages of yeast to warm water, then add beaten egg to yeast water.
Mix wet and dry ingredients until well blended.
Fill greased muffin tins 3/4 full and bake 20 minutes at 400Β°.
Makes 18 to 20 rolls.
Serve warm.
