Microwave Hot Cocoa is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 tbsp. sugar, 3 tbsp. cocoa, dash of salt, 3 tbsp. hot water and 2 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

In a 1-quart microwave-safe bowl, stir together sugar, cocoa, salt and hot water; microwave on High for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes or until boiling.
Stir in milk; microwave on High for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes or until hot.
Stir in vanilla; blend well.
Serve hot, topped with whipped cream, if desired.
Makes about 4 (6 ounce) servings.
