Mix dry ingredients.
Rub in fat.
Add milk, all at one time. Stir with a fork.
Turn out on floured board and turn a few times. Roll out thinly and line a baking dish or casserole with half of dough.
Mix apples (thinly sliced) with sugar, a little cinnamon and nutmeg and a few drops of lemon juice.
Put into lined dish. Cover with remaining pastry.
Pinch crust together.
