Mountaineer Slaw
Mountaineer Slaw is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. sugar, 2 c. apple cider vinegar, 1 c. water, 2 heads cabbage, shredded and 2 tbsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Boil water, sugar and vinegar for 3 minutes; set aside to cool.
Toss shredded cabbage with salt; let set for 1 hour.
Then add remaining ingredients.
After liquid has cooled, pour over slaw mixture.
Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Makes 25 or more servings.
