Soften yeast in water and set aside.
Beat well the Crisco, sugar and eggs.
Add yeast and blend well.
Add 4 cups of flour and the salt; beat on medium speed until smooth.
Stir in 4 to 4 1/2 cups more flour.
Store in refrigerator, tightly closed, overnight or until needed.
Will keep for 4 to 5 days.
