Oma (Grandmother) Stehling's Rolls
Oma (Grandmother) Stehling'S Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. dry yeast, 1 c. warm water, 1/4 c. sugar, shortening and 1 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Dissolve package of yeast in warm water; add sugar and shortening, salt, egg and flour.
Beat until smooth.
Make into dough and place in refrigerator overnight.
Remove next day and roll into fairly thin 1/2-inch piece.
Cut in small circles.
Put melted butter on one edge; fold over and press edges together. Place in greased pan and let rise.
Bake at 400Β° for 10 to 14 minutes.
