Oven Apple Butter
Oven Apple Butter is an easy dinner. Made with 3 gal. drop apple, do not peel, 3 qt. (12 c.) sugar and 2 tsp. cinnamon or spices to your taste, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Put cut apples and sugar in a blue granite canner and put in a 300° to 350° oven overnight or for 6 to 8 hours.
When done, run through colander and add cinnamon or spices to suit taste.
Makes 10 to 12 pints.
Put in pint jars and pressure to 5 pounds.
Cool and store.
It's so simple to make and uses up lots of drop apples.
