Parker House Rolls
Parker House Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 cake yeast or pkg. dry yeast, 1/2 c. lukewarm water, 1 tbsp. sugar, 1 tsp. salt and 2 tbsp. shortening, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water.
Add sugar, salt and shortening to hot milk.
Cool to lukewarm.
Add yeast and flour. Beat well.
Cover.
Let rise until double in bulk.
Roll dough to 1/2-inch thickness, cut with a biscuit cutter.
Cruse through the middle with the dull edge of knife.
Brush with melted butter and fold.
Press tightly.
Place on greased biscuit pans.
Cover to rise until light.
Just before removing rolls from the oven brush tops with melted butter.
