Peanut Butter Cookies
Peanut Butter Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. flour, 1/2 tsp. soda, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1/2 c. shortening and 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Have shortening at room temperature.
Grease cookie sheets. Mix together flour, soda and salt.
Beat next 7 ingredients.
Stop mixer; scrape bowl.
Add sifted flour mixture.
Beat on medium scraping bowl while beating.
Drop by teaspoonfuls on a cookie sheet.
Press lightly with a fork which has been dipped in flour to flatten cookies and make top ridged.
Bake at 325Β° for 15 to 20 minutes.
Makes about 3 1/2 dozen cookies.
