Pecan Sandies
Pecan Sandies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter, softened, 1/3 c. sugar, 2 tsp. vanilla, 2 tsp. water and 2 c. all-purpose flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Cream butter and sugar; add vanilla and water and mix well. Blend in flour and pecans.
Shape in balls or finger size bars. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 325Β° for about 20 minutes.
I turn up the heat for a few minutes to brown them.
Cool slightly and roll in powdered sugar.
A good way to do this is to put the sandies in brown paper bag and add the powdered sugar and shake well.
