Pita Pizza Sandwiches
Pita Pizza Sandwiches is an easy dinner. Made with 5 oz. pepperoni, finely chopped, 10 oz. cheddar cheese, shredded, 1 (16 oz.) can whole tomatoes, drained, 3/4 tsp. italian seasoning and pita bread, cut in halves, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Cook pepperoni in skillet and drain on paper towels.
Combine pepperoni and cheese in ovenproof pan.
Chop tomatoes and add to pan.
Include juices left on cutting board but not the juice drained from the can.
Sprinkle on Italian seasoning.
Mix thoroughly.
Heat in a 350Β° oven about 10 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
Lightly toast pita pocket, open and fill with mixture.
