Political Roast Beef

Preheat oven to 375Β°.
Have roast at room temperature.
Make a mixture of all the spices and sugar.
Rub into the roast well. Place roast in a covered roasting pan.
Bake for 1 hour.
Turn oven off, but do not open the door.
Forty-five minutes before you plan to eat, uncover roast, turn oven back on and let roast cook for 45 minutes.
