Roast in a Bag
Roast In A Bag is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 roast (any kind, deer, pork or beef), 1 pkg. roasting bag seasoning, 3 c. water, 1/2 c. chopped onion or green onion and 2 large potatoes, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Before bedtime, set oven at 175° to 200°.
Put meat, water and onions into seasoning bag.
Next morning, turn oven off.
Boil potatoes and carrots until almost done.
Add salt and pepper.
Put meat and all its juice into electric skillet.
Add potatoes and carrots; simmer until they are cooked.
Thicken gravy with cornstarch or flour and water.
Serve with rice or mashed potatoes. Meat can be frozen.
