Cream butter and sugar; add eggs, one at a time.
Beat well. Add vanilla.
Sift flour, salt, soda and baking powder.
Add creamed mixture, alternating with sour cream, beginning and ending with dry ingredients.
Drop by heaping spoonfuls on well-greased cookie sheet, well apart.
Flatten with a spoon.
Bake at 400Β° for 10 to 12 minutes.
