Spanish Noodles

Made with 1 large onion, chopped fine, 2 tbsp. shortening, 1 1/4 lb. ground beef, browned and drained, 1 (5 oz.) pkg. egg noodles, cooked and drained and 1/2 tsp. black pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Brown onion in shortening; add beef.
Grease a casserole dish and place half of noodles in dish.
Put in half of meat and onions, then a layer of seasoning.
