Stay Crisp Slaw
Stay Crisp Slaw is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 8 c. shredded cabbage, 1/2 green pepper, cut into thin strips, 1/2 c. chopped onion, 3/4 c. cold water and 1/2 c. chopped carrots, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Mix cabbage, carrots, green pepper and onion.
Sprinkle with 1/2 cup cold water.
Chill.
Soften gelatin in remaining 1/4 cup cold water.
Mix sugar, vinegar, celery seed, salt and pepper in saucepan.
Bring to boil.
Stir in gelatin.
Cool until thick. Beat well and add oil.
Drain vegetables.
Pour dressing over top. Mix well.
Store in refrigerator.
Stir before serving.
