Steak Casserole
Steak Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 12 small pieces cubed steak (about 2 lb.), 3 to 4 potatoes, sliced thin, 1 onion, sliced thin, 2 pkg. mushroom gravy or 2 cans mushroom soup and 1 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Salt and pepper the steak and coat well the cube steaks.
Brown in oil on both sides.
In well-greased oblong dish (13 x 9), place the steak in the bottom, then layer of potatoes, then the onions.
Mix gravy according to directions.
Bring to a boil and pour over mixture.
Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour at 350Β°.
