Sticky Buns
Sticky Buns is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. yeast, dissolved in 1/4 c. lukewarm water, 1/4 c. soft shortening, 1 c. scalding milk, 1/4 c. sugar and 1 egg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Mix milk, shortening, sugar, salt and 1 cup flour.
Beat with spoon.
Add yeast and egg.
Add rest of flour; let rise until double.
Punch down.
Roll; spread with butter.
Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
Roll as for jelly roll.
Slice 1-inch thick and put in pan on top of Sticky Goo.
Let rise until Goo cannot be seen.
Bake at 350Β° for 20 minutes.
Take out and let rest 1 minute; turn upside-down on cookie sheet.
