Swedish Hamburgers
Swedish Hamburgers is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 slice whole wheat bread, crumbled, 3/4 tsp. salt, 1/2 tsp. paprika, 1/4 tsp. pepper and 1/4 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Combine bread, salt, paprika, pepper and milk.
Let stand 10 minutes.
Mix in chuck and egg.
Shape into patties.
Melt margarine in skillet. Fry patties 4 to 5 minutes on each side at medium heat.
Remove from pan and place in a covered dish in a warm oven.
Saute onions in margarine and drippings remaining in skillet.
When onions are tender, sprinkle with flour.
Stir in milk and cook until mixture thickens, stirring constantly.
Spoon over meat.
