Tofu Teriyaki Steak
Tofu Teriyaki Steak is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 42 oz. firm tofu, well drained and cut into thirds, 3 tbsp. sake, 2 tbsp. light soy sauce, 1 tsp. sesame oil and 1 clove garlic, crushed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Cut tofu crosswise into thirds; then cut into halves.
Prepare Teriyaki Sauce with the remaining ingredients.
Marinate tofu in Teriyaki Sauce for 20 to 30 minutes.
Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in 12-inch skillet over medium heat; add tofu pieces and stir-fry until golden brown on both sides.
Repeat until all tofu is stir-fried.
Sprinkle 7-Spice powder and chopped green onion if you desire.
