Vanilla Ice Cream
Vanilla Ice Cream is an easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 4 eggs, beaten, 2 tbsp. flour, 2 tsp. vanilla flavoring and 3/4 gal. whole milk or 2 tall cans pet milk with 1 can water and whole milk to make a gal., this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. In a double boiler or large saucepan, combine sugar and flour. Add eggs and 1/2 quart milk.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture coats spoon.
Remove from heat, cool slightly; add vanilla and enough milk to fill freezer can.
Freeze according to directions.
