Vanilla Ice Cream
Vanilla Ice Cream is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 eggs, 3 c. sugar, 3 level tbsp. flour, 1/4 tsp. salt and 3 pt. whole milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Mix eggs, sugar, flour and salt.
Heat 3 pints of milk; add other ingredients and cook until slightly thickened.
When cooled (doesn't have to be cold, just not boiling), add 2 cans evaporated milk and 1 teaspoon vanilla.
Add enough whole milk in addition to the 3 pints to make a gallon.
Freeze in a hand type freezer.
