Vegetarian Calzones
Vegetarian Calzones is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 envelope active dry yeast, 1 c. very warm water, 1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar, 3/4 tsp. salt and 1 stick margarine, softened, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Sprinkle yeast over very warm water and let stand about 5 minutes to soften.
Stir in brown sugar, salt and butter.
Add 2 1/2 cups white flour and beat with mixer 5 minutes.
Beat in egg, then mix in, by hand, remaining flour. Cover and let rise in warm place about 1 hour.
