"Very Good" Pie Crust
"Very Good" Pie Crust is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 c. all-purpose flour, 1 3/4 c. crisco or spry, 1 tbsp. sugar, 2 tsp. salt and 1/2 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
With fork, mix together first 4 ingredients in a large bowl. In a small bowl, beat remaining ingredients together.
Add to first mixture and blend well with fork.
With hands, mold dough into a ball and chill at least 15 minutes before rolling.
Dough may be stored in refrigerator up to 3 days or frozen until ready to use.
Makes 4 pie shells or 1 double and 2 shells or 2 double pies.
