Virginia's Hamburger Soup
Virginia'S Hamburger Soup is an impressive dinner. Made with 3 onions, chopped, 3 tbsp. oil, 1 lb. hamburger meat, 1 clove garlic, chopped and 3 c. beef bouillon stock, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Saute onions in the oil.
Add meat and garlic; cook until brown.
Add rest of ingredients except okra.
Bring to a boil and simmer 1 to 1 1/4 hours until potatoes and carrots are tender.
Let frozen okra set out on counter while soup is cooking so it will be thawed.
Add okra and cook just until it is done.
