Mix your favorite pancake mix and prepare to put on griddle. After spooning mix onto griddle, place small chocolate chips on top of soon-to-be pancake.
Immediately spoon a small amount of mix on top to cover chips.
Turn once to brown on both sides. Serve as you would normal pancakes, but with less butter and possibly less syrup, depending on your sweet tooth.
