Whole Wheat Lasagna
Whole Wheat Lasagna is an impressive pasta dish you can prepare in about 1 hour 34 minutes. Made with . lean ground beef, large onion, . salt and pepper, . sugar and . italian seasoning, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Brown beef and onion in large saucepan; drain grease.
Salt and pepper to taste and add all spices (sugar, garlic powder and Italian seasoning).
Add tomato wedges, tomato paste and 1 can water.
Simmer 30 minutes.
Boil noodles according to box; don't over boil.
Drain.
Make layers starting with 1 thin layer of sauce, 4 noodles laid lengthwise, layer of sauce, layer of cottage cheese, layer of Mozzarella cheese, noodles, sauce, cottage cheese, Mozzarella, sauce, noodles, sauce, cottage cheese, Mozzarella and last 2 or 3 tablespoons Parmesan.
Bake at 350Β° until cheese really bubbles, about 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Serve with tossed salad and garlic bread!
