Working Girl'S Chewy Butter Cake is an easy dinner. Made with 3 c. confectioners sugar, 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened, 1 pkg. yellow, white or pineapple cake mix, 3 eggs and 1/4 lb. butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Grease and flour a 13 x 9
2-inch pan.
Melt butter; cool. Add butter to 1 beaten egg.
Spread mixture in pan and sprinkle with dry cake mix.
Blend cheese and remaining 2 eggs with sugar and pour over dry cake mix. for 45 minutes.
When cool, sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
