Bacon Stuffed Burgers
Bacon Stuffed Burgers is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 slices bacon, fried crisp, 1/4 c. chopped onion, 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, 1 lb. lean ground beef and 1 lb. pork sausage, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Fry bacon crisp.
Saute onion in 2 tablespoons bacon drippings.
Drain and chop mushrooms.
Crumble bacon. Add with onion and mushrooms; set aside.
Combine beef, sausage, cheese, pepper, garlic powder and steak sauce.
Shape into thin patties. Put bacon mixture on half of patties, then put another patty on top and seal real good around edges.
Cook over medium heat until well done.
Serve on buns.
