Baked Chicken Sandwiches
Baked Chicken Sandwiches is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 16 slices white bread, 1 stick margarine, 1/4 lb. fresh mushrooms, 2 c. diced cooked chicken and 3 chopped hard-boiled eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Trim crust off bread and butter each side.
Place 8 slices of bread in 9 x 13-inch pan.
Saute mushrooms in 2 tablespoons butter.
Cover bread with mixture of mushrooms, chicken, eggs, olives, mayonnaise and onions.
Arrange remaining 8 slices of bread on top.
Combine soup, sour cream and sherry; pour over sandwich.
Sprinkle with paprika.
