Baked Chop Suey
Baked Chop Suey is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 lbs ground beef, 5 large chopped onions, 5 cans cream of chicken soup, 5 cans cream of mushroom soup and 2 1/2 c uncooked rice (not instant), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Cook and separate ground beef in a large skillet.
Place in a roaster and add chopped onion, mushroom and chicken soups, water, rice, soy sauce, salt and pepper.
Bake at 350Β°F. for 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hours, stirring twice while baking.
It may need more water added.
Heat the chow mein noodles in the oven and put on top of casserole just before serving.
