Baked Onion Rings
Baked Onion Rings is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. white onions, sliced, 8 slices buttered toast, 1/4 lb. american cheese, shredded, 2 eggs, beaten and 2 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Cook onions in boiling salted water until tender; drain well. Place half of the toast in a baking dish.
Layer half of the onions and half of the cheese over toast.
Repeat layers.
Beat eggs with milk, salt and pepper.
Pour over cheese.
