Banana-Nut Muffins
Banana-Nut Muffins is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. coarsely chopped walnuts, 2 c. old-fashioned or quick cooking oats, uncooked, 3 c. flour, 1 tbsp. baking powder and 2 tsp. baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Preheat oven to 400Β°.
Grease muffin tins.
In small bowl, mix 1/2 cup walnuts and 2 tablespoons oats; set aside.
Mix remaining nuts and oats with flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
In another bowl, mash bananas.
Beat in milk, honey, melted butter and egg until blended.
Stir banana mixture into flour mixture just until blended.
Batter will be lumpy.
Spoon batter into muffin tins; sprinkle with nut-oat mixture.
Bake 15 to 20 minutes until golden and toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Immediately remove muffins from pan.
Serve warm or cool.
