Bran Muffins
Bran Muffins is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. boiling water, 6 c. bran flakes, 1 1/4 c. butter or margarine, 3 c. sugar and 4 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Pour boiling water over bran flakes and let stand.
In a separate bowl, cream butter and sugar; beat in eggs.
Stir in buttermilk and the bran flake mixture.
Sift together flour, salt and baking soda and add to muffin mixture.
Add dates (or raisins), if desired.
Spoon into greased muffin tins.
Bake at 400Β° for 20 minutes.
