Cheesecake Brownies(Yield One 9 X 9-Inch Pan) is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened, 1 1/3 c. sugar, 3 eggs, 10 tbsp. Mix cream cheese with 1/3 cup sugar and 1 egg until light and fluffy; set aside.
Cream margarine with sugar, then beat in 2 eggs, one at a time.
Beat until fluffy; add cocoa.
Stir in a mixture of flour, baking powder and salt; blend.
Add vanilla. Spoon half of chocolate mixture into greased 9 x 9-inch pan. Spoon cheese mixture over chocolate layer.
Add remaining chocolate mixture by spoonfuls to cover cheese layer.
Spread carefully.
Bake at 350Β° for 35 minutes.
Do not overbake.
Cool before cutting.
